The price of each Original work of art depends upon a
number of factors:

Can I give you some idea of the cost? Only
in general. Each painting, sketch, or print has a different
price. Oil paintings of a ship or other complex marine subject
usually vary from about $3,500 to many thousands of dollars. Watercolors are usually less. Pencil sketches may start at about
$500, depending on how finished they are.
I add minimal packing and shipping charges to the price of the artwork.
What will the cost be for a specific work of art? If you wish
a price for artwork on my website, I ask you to
send an
and specify the work. If you
wish to discuss a commission of a specific subject, let me know just what
you have in mind---the ship or other subject, the medium, and the
approximate size. I will give you a firm price for that particular
commission. I generally require a deposit for commissions, usually
a percentage of the final price.
